5 Mixing Ideas for National Margarita Day

5 Mixing Ideas for National Margarita Day

It's hard to find a cocktail as refreshing — or versatile, as a margarita. It truly is the perfect balance between salty, sour, sweet & bitter flavors. Most widely consumed in its classic form, margaritas traditionally include tequila, lime juice, Triple Sec & a salted rim.

There are debates regarding this drink's true origin, with some claims reaching back to the 1930s. When it comes to the type of equipment used to simplify the frozen margarita-making process, a machine was invented in 1971 specifically for this purpose. You'll often hear of cocktail fads — but one thing is for certain, the margarita will always remain popular.

Perfect for National Margarita Day

There's no denying the incredible flavor of a traditional margarita, which is exactly why so many variations have been created over the years. If you'd like to try something different or 'wow' your guests, why not mix up the traditional recipe?

Celebrate National Margarita Day is style with these awesome mixing ideas:

To beat the morning-after blues — be sure to always carry some hangover supplements on-hand. They'll ensure you can actually look at a margarita again — especially after you try all five recipes above. Cheers!
